Bailey
I have nothing to say, or to update on.
So I'll leave you all with a picture of my friend's dog that I took last night.
I also have a video of her that I took of her awhile ago (see Snow, Go Away!)
I'll post it again for those of you who haven't had a chance to see it.

Friday's Funny - Huggies Commercial
I saw these in the store awhile ago. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it in the store. And I was even more shocked when I saw the commercial. The whole concept makes me lol.

Friday's Funny - Foxes Playing on a Trampoline
So I'm trying to think of more fun things to do with the blog beside Monday Memories.
Every Friday I will share something with all of you that I think is funny in an effort to start off your weekend with a good laugh. Some of my material may be old, and some may not find it humorous. All I can promise is that I try. :)

Gone Fishing
Well, not so much. Dan and I headed out to one of our state parks to go fishing earlier but we didn't have much luck. Dan caught a little one, and we had a few nibbles. I have a few pictures to share. Don't forget you can click on each picture for a larger version.
This is the first area we started fishing. We didn't catch anything here. It was weedy, and I had a few bites but that's about it.
Since I wasn't catching anything I set my pole down and ran over to snap a photo of a bunch of some geese and their "teenagers," as I call them.
We drove around the park for awhile and stopped at another area. We didn't start fishing here right away, and I decided to take a few pictures us.
Okay, okay. Enough of us. :) So then I made Dan climb in the lake and grab me some rocks so I could build a heart. It didn't come out as I had planned and I don't like the lighting in the picture. I had to keep at least one photo after all the effort he put in to get those rocks for me.

I tortured Dan enough. He was ready to start fishing again. He was convinced he'd catch something in this spot.
I decided to sit out. Just as I turned around to go over to the picnic table to sit I saw this raccoon run up to the garbage to find food.
Attempt #1. He pulled out a KFC bag, but couldn't find anything good. He decided to search around some more.
After he climbed in, he found a delicious biscuit. I caught a quick video of him running off with it. I was trying to get a video of him rummaging through the trash.
Dan became interested in the raccoon so he put his pole down and walked over. He noticed the raccoon in a tree and showed me since I couldn't find him. I thought he was long gone. I took another video of him in the tree. My favorite part is when he stopped to nibble his biscuit and stare at me.
Dan went back to fishing and I sat down on the picnic table. I was fortunate to have some geese get close enough so I could get a closer shot. They kept coming up to me and hissing at me, though. I ended up running away.
Dan finally caught a fish toward the end of the evening. It wasn't a carp like he was hoping. And it wasn't even a big fish. It was just a tiny largemouth. :)
And right before we left I took a picture of the sun setting on the lake.
Despite the fact that we didn't catch many fish, we still had a good day. I hope the weather stays just as nice tomorrow because we plan on doing it again, but in a different area. It sure is good to be home.

Yeah, I don't think we're going to see any cars. Haha.

The Weekend is Finally Here!
It was nice to have yesterday off to just relax. I hung around the apartment for a bit until Dan got off work and then we headed out for the night. We picked up some photo prints and a couple new photo albums from Walgreens and then stopped at a local hot dog joint that Dan loves going to.
After that we went shopping around for this 6 inch ruler Dan needs for his training and eventually his job. We have been looking for one forever. We tried Home Depot and Meijer a few days ago and we couldn't find one. So the other guys in his group told him to go to Menards. We stopped over there after dinner last night and they were sold out. Dan was about ready to give up, but before he did we drove all the way down to Lowe's. We finally found one at the very bottom corner of a shelf. After that was over we stopped over at Dunkin Donuts for donuts and coffee. Later in the evening we met up with Jake, Zak, Matt and Kat at Brunswick. It was Jake and Zak's last night in Illinois before they move back to their homes in Wisconsin. We stayed the night with them and we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures and videos from the night.
This is Zak bowling a strike.
And here's Dan's strike, no dances.
And sorry about the videos being sideways.
Now I have to spend the rest of the night at work in just a couple of hours. Before I go here's a sales update.

Snow, Go Away!
Dan and I made it home for the weekend. It was nice to spend the weekend with our friends.
I found out I have a video editor on the new laptop, so we messed around with my camera and made a video of Andy's dog Bailey.
The drive back to Chicago on Sunday morning was horrible. The snow was coming down hard and the roads were terrible. We made it back on time for Danny to get to his work training, though.
I have a little update on my sales. I have to say, February has been very good to me!
Time to go get my nails done and get some grocery shopping done!

On to Game Seven!
I had a nice time yesterday before I had to go to work in the evening. Nicole and I went to the mall to hang out for a bit. We got a bite to eat at Red Robin and then went to Baskin-Robbins for dessert. Then we went to go see The Hangover. I didn't stay for long because I had to be at work. I've already seen it and I wanted to get Nicole in so that she could see it for free.
Work wasn't bad. I had someone to talk to the whole time and I kind of got a glimpse of the Red Wing's game through the window at Red Robin. Unfortunately, we lost. We always have game seven, right?? Dan and I are going back home this weekend to give our support to Detroit. I'm excited to go home to see our friends and family. I probably won't get on to update during the weekend, but I will still have posts for the Father's Day gifts.
Speaking of Zazzle, I totally forget to post about my sale last week!
That photo was taken at the Cosley Zoo. All the goats just lined up like they were getting ready for me to take their family portrait!
Time for a long day at work. Just want to share this video with everyone before I leave. Nicole's boyfriend showed it to me. I think it's adorable!

It's Beautiful Outside!
I just woke up not too long ago. I finally got a nice amount of sleep for once. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do today. I might possibly go to the pool today to hang out with Nicole.
Right now I'm watching the Tyra Banks Show. It's a pretty interesting episode. I tuned in when they were talking to bridezillas and trying to get them to tone down and be less controlling. Now they are doing the NIVEA My Silhouette! My Skinny Jeans Challenge. Did anyone else watch it today?
Oh, and I just want to share this video with all of you. You're going to watch it over and over again.

Charlie!
Still no work. Well, not until 11PM tonight. I've done a lot of work on our bedroom for the bed that's being delivered on Friday. I can't express how excited I am!
Dan and I did end up going to Sonic last night for the free root beer floats. We ordered food before getting in line for the floats. It was our first time at Sonic. I had a cheeseburger and Danny had some kind of chicken sandwich, as he always does. I've heard the food is bad and overpriced there, but I disagree. We both thought the food was delicious and it was about a dollar less than what the two of us spend at McDonald's. After we finished our food, we got into the (gigantically huge) line for the floats, which was pretty much a waste to me because I don't even like root beer. Dan enjoyed his float, while I just picked the ice cream out of mine. :) It was a nice experience in all. It was definitely great to get out and do something different.
I also just wanted to share this video with everyone. I know a lot of you may have already seen it but it makes me smile every time. :)

Video Gamers!
My little brother has recently started creating and uploading videos on YouTube. He does those "Let's Play" videos where he plays video games to show others how to play it and he talks along with it to keep it interesting. He currently only has videos for Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Please check them out sometime if you enjoy this sort of thing: rockbandxtreme
