The Weekend is Finally Here!

It was nice to have yesterday off to just relax. I hung around the apartment for a bit until Dan got off work and then we headed out for the night. We picked up some photo prints and a couple new photo albums from Walgreens and then stopped at a local hot dog joint that Dan loves going to.
After that we went shopping around for this 6 inch ruler Dan needs for his training and eventually his job. We have been looking for one forever. We tried Home Depot and Meijer a few days ago and we couldn't find one. So the other guys in his group told him to go to Menards. We stopped over there after dinner last night and they were sold out. Dan was about ready to give up, but before he did we drove all the way down to Lowe's. We finally found one at the very bottom corner of a shelf. After that was over we stopped over at Dunkin Donuts for donuts and coffee. Later in the evening we met up with Jake, Zak, Matt and Kat at Brunswick. It was Jake and Zak's last night in Illinois before they move back to their homes in Wisconsin. We stayed the night with them and we had a lot of fun.
