These are some pictures I took when I took a trip to downtown Detroit with Dan's sister.

Netbook vs. Laptop? Help??

Dan and I don't have much money for shopping this year, so we decided on not buying each other a present. We're going to be buying a new computer (this is the one we're looking into). We're still doing some research and figuring out which is best. Maybe even this? I can't choose between a netbook and laptop. And I'm hoping not to spend more than the price of both of those. I really love the whole idea of a netbook, and I like the one I'm looking at, especially for the built in web cam. The only thing I dislike about it is the lack of an optical drive, but I can just always buy an external one like this right? Is it a pain? I'm so bad with computer stuff. Do any of you have a netbook? I'd love opinions.


I'm so excited about going home for Christmas. We have 16 days until we head home, and 18 days until Christmas. I'm preparing for it as much as I can here. Trying to keep things organized, getting laundry and packing done. I even put up some Christmas lights in our bedroom.

Slacking

Haven't had the chance to update in awhile. I've been busy with work and there was an unexpected issue that took up my whole night last night.

I'm just getting ready to eat some macaroni and then get some housework done. I'm going to make dinner for Dan and I when he gets home from work and then we're going to the movies to see The Proposal.

I just wanted to show off a couple of products I sold in the last couple days.

BBQ and Warm Weather

My phone broke yesterday, and it wasn't my fault at all! I went to go answer a phone call and it just broke in half. I was so angry, especially because I don't have the money to pay the deductible on my insurance for another phone. Dan and I took it to Verizon today and they replaced it at no cost. I guess they already knew the phone had a dysfunctional hinge.

Today Dan and I went with Nicole and Steve to the Cosley Zoo.
We just finished eating dinner with them. We barbecued ribs, macaroni and mashed potatoes.

Oh! And I sold these two products on Friday. I was very excited. :) It's a second sale for the shirt, first sale for the postcard. Thanks for the purchases.
