These are a of couple friends Dan and I hung around with when we lived in Illinois. I particularly like this photo because you can't see my face, haha. I'm in the black shirt in the front with Dan. To the left is Doug and to the right is Jared. Jared's girlfriend Jen was taking the picture. We were on our way back to Union Station.

Never be scared of your own face. It's yours. Nobody else's. Take ownership of it and be proud of it :)
That is very true Kim, but I looked horrible that day. Well, at least my hair did. :)
Not to mention it was hot and humid the whole day. Yuck.
Sweaty face and horrible hair? Sounds fantastic photography material - especially black and white to bring out the skin and hair textures.
Once you get over the feeling that you have to look good in photos, you can start thinking about whether you can look interesting instead, and then a whole new world of photography opens up to you.
You're a good looking woman, and can always create a good looking photo. But characterful photos are infinitely more fun to produce and interesting to look at :)
I've never really thought about that. Thanks for the tips.
