An Open Letter to a Nigerian Scammer


This is my responds to an email you just recently sent me. I will make the comments on your letter accordingly to what you have spoken to me.

I am Mr. kALIU Salick ,an Attorney at law, and the personal lawyer to Engineer Dr Alfred A. Corbeil, a foreigner who used to work and owned Corbeil Oil International in Burkina Faso, Herein after shall be referred to as my client.

Nice to meet you kALIU. I just Googled your dearest client Dr Alfred A. Corbeil and it has come to my discovery that Mr. Richard Agese and Mr. Francis Kwame are also Corbeil's personal lawyers. Mr. Corbeil must has a lot of issues, did he spill oil into an ocean like the BP?

It may interest you to know that , I got your contact at the office of the Chamber of commerce and Tourism in Ouagadougou Burkina faso as I was going through some directories. On the 10th day of August 2003, my client, his wife and their two children were involved in a car accident along Ouaga - Bobo express way while arriving from a Holiday to Bobo.

It is very interesting to myself! I wonder how my contact got in the office of the Chamber of commerce and Tourism in Ougadougou Burkina faso. It must have been when I had visit my close dear friend. Therefore, I will not fail to inform you that this transaction is 100% risk free.

Wow!!!!!!!!!! 13 million United States Dollars?? For me? How we will get the Security Finance Company to think that I am Corbeil's next of kin, won't they be suspicion? I guess you say this is 100% risk free so I trust in you.

On smooth conclusion of this transaction, you will be entitled to 30% of the total sum as gratification, while 10% will be set aside to take care of expenses that may arise during the time of transfer, internal revenue tax and also telephone bills, while 60% will be for me towards any profitable investment in your country. All I require from you is your honest co-operation to enable us see this transaction through.

I'm confused now at first I thought I was getting all account. But I guess it fair thing and I really feel sadden for this Corbeil guy and his kin. I will try to co-operate as best can.
