Under the Weather

I'm starting to feel sick and I think the weather is to blame. It keeps changing from 65 and sunny to 30 and snowy. My throat is sore. I wish Spring would just hurry up and come!

It was so nice to have a day off yesterday, especially because I worked until 12:30 AM on Saturday. I was scheduled to work until 1 AM, but I asked to leave early. I am not looking forward to going to work this evening. I hate working closing shifts, it's so long.

Last night I bought this button on Zazzle in an effort to support a fellow Zazzler who is trying to raise a minimum of $2,300 to be able to participate in the Michigan 3-Day Breast Cancer walk.

Relaxing

I started a Google Analytics account a few days ago, and I love it. It's a little tricky to navigate through and to understand, but if you don't have one yet I suggest getting one. I love being able to know where all the traffic comes from for my blog and my Zazzle gallery.

Dan and I went out to lunch at Portillo's this afternoon. They have really good food there.
I wish I had the day off but I am now getting ready to go to work in about an hour. I have a 6-1 shift. Uck. At least I'm not missing out on any good weather, it's cold and rainy. I heard it's even supposed to snow tomorrow. Where is Spring at!?!?

Good Morning!

I've been up all night working on my Zazzle store. I'm close to 700 products now, slowly but surely! I'm supposed to go out with a friend later in the afternoon, but I don't know how I am going to have the energy. My Zazzle addiction is getting the best of me.

So if you haven't heard yet, they are changing the name of the Sears Tower in Chicago, IL to the Willis Tower (Sears Tower name change has few Chicago fans). I was pretty upset to hear this news. I don't think it's right to change something as iconic as the Sears Tower.
What is your take on the situation, and will you make the name change, too, or will you continue to call it the Sears Tower? Please speak up and leave comments. I'd like to know everyone's take on this situation.

Getting Free Ringtones

One of my favorite things to do with my cell phone is to have customized ringtones for all of my friends so I know who is calling when my phone is in another part of my apartment.
Most newer cell phones have the option to have a different ringtone for each contact. The only setbacks are that there isn't always a wide variety of tones to choose from and they are very expensive.
After a great deal of research, I discovered myxer.com. This site allows you to use music you already have saved on your computer (from downloading, saving CDs to your computer, etc.) and make your own ringtones.

Just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to http://www.myxer.com/ and click MAKE YOUR OWN at the right side of the page.
2. Upload a song from your computer and click UPLOAD.
3. Pick the section of the song you want as the ringtone and how long you want it to be.
4. Enter your mobile phone number.

There may be standard and other carrier charges, especially if you don't have text messaging as a part of your cellular plan. The ringtones come to your phone in the form of a text message.

I just wanted to share that little tidbit with all of you. :)

Guess What!!

I'm baaaaaaaaack.

So, I am finally back on the Internet. I got Cricket broadband for my laptop, $40/mo. unlimited usage and no contract to sign up. I am very pleased.

As hard as it was for me to get off the Internet today since I haven't been on it in so long, I couldn't ignore the fact that it was such a beautiful day outside today! I went on a walk with my friend Nicole on a trail in the woods around a lake. There were a lot of geese back there. They kept freaking out because we were walking in their territory. It took them awhile to fly away, but I caught a few seconds of them on my cell phone camera waddling away before they actually flew off.

I sold a couple of products on my Zazzle gallery the other day. Just want to thank my customers.

I need to get my own Internet!

I had a nice weekend back at home, though I wish it wasn't the only time I could get online. I started tracking all my dollar bills on Where's George while I was back at home, but now I don't have the Internet to keep up with it. Maybe just a couple more weeks after I get some money.

Long Time!

Still no Internet, but I am hoping to be able to afford it soon! I just have some bills to catch up.
I'm visiting back at home right now, just wanted to update so that everyone knows I didn't abandon my blog.
I'm not sure if I ever updated about getting that job I applied for, but I did. I have been working there for about a month now and so far so good!
I am really hoping to be back soon. Hopefully everything goes well.
