Last Day

Today is the last day for the store I was working at in the mall and yesterday was my last day there so I am officially unemployed.
It's time to start looking for a new job, but I'm not quite sure where to go yet. It's difficult without any transportation. I'd like to stay at home and work, but I haven't found anything worth while that I can actually pay my bills with.

Christmas was nice. I was glad to be home and see my family and friends. Danny's Jeep is not drivable anymore so we had to borrow his dad's truck to get back home. We have to drive home this weekend and try to get it fixed so that we can give his dad his truck back.
I didn't take ANY pictures, so much for that goal. Maybe I can take some pictures when we go home this weekend.

Tomorrow Dan and I are making the journey back home, yay! :)
Today I am going to get the laundry done and pack our bags. Hopefully I can get a little cleaning done around the apartment, I always say that though. Hahaha.
I am going to try and update while I am at home. I am also supposed to make it a goal to take pictures, especially for my Zazzle store. I need to get some more of my actual photography up.

Just wanted to share a holiday joke with everyone that I found at Dwarfnet.
Enjoy and have a safe and happy holiday season everyone.

Holiday Diet Tips:

1. If no one sees you eat it, it has no calories.
2. If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, they cancel each other out.
3. When eating with someone else, calories don't count if you both eat the same amount.
4. Foods used for medicinal purposes have no calories. This includes any chocolate used for energy, brandy, Sara Lee Cheesecake (eaten whole), and Haagen-Daz Ice Cream.
5. Movie-related foods are much lower in calories simply because they are a part of the entertainment experience and not part of one's personal fuel. This includes Milk Duds, popcorn with butter, Junior Mints, Snickers, and Gummi Bears.
6. Cookie pieces contain no calories because the process of breakage causes calorie leakage.
7. If you eat the food off someone else's plate, it doesn't count.
8. If you eat standing up the calories all go to your feet and get walked off.
9. Food eaten at Christmas parties has no calories, courtesy of Santa.
10. STRESSED is just DESSERTS spelled backward.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot like Christmas. :)

It's getting a lot closer to Christmas. I can't wait to go home on Tuesday.
I think I finally got all my Christmas shopping done, we just have one more person to buy for and then we can finally rest.

Some woman that Danny works with made this little pin for me. I thought it was really cute. :)
It's a bad picture, though. Sorry.

My counter top is a bit messy, haha.

We got quite a bit of snow here yesterday, it actually wasn't as bad as they predicted, though.
It was just really icy out. Hopefully it isn't too bad for when we drive home and back.

Almost Time!!

The holiday is coming very fast, just five more days until I will be driving home!
I can't wait to get away from work and be back in Michigan.
This time I am going to make it a goal to take pictures.

That was me on Christmas Eve two years ago.
I've changed so much since then, even my hair is different. I'd like to get a picture of me on Christmas Eve this year, too. I didn't take one last year.

I need to get the rest of my Christmas shopping done very soon, maybe today before I go to work?
I don't know, I don't ever have time. And Danny has to go get his Jeep fixed today so that we can drive it home. I have no idea how everything is going to work out today.
Hopefully we can afford to get it fixed, have gas money to drive home and be able to make rent when we come home. Hopefully we get money for Christmas, ha. That would be the best gift.

Another Day Off!

I have another day to relax and get some stuff done around the apartment. I was supposed to have yesterday off, but I switched shifts with my co-worker so she could spend the day with her boyfriend because it was his birthday.

I had a really strange man approach me at work yesterday. He tried telling me I was coming with him after I got off work. He said he worked at Life Time Fitness, and that he wanted to give me a membership. He kept asking my name and all this weird creepy stuff. I called security, not sure what happened with the whole situation, or what will happen.
There are a lot of weird people at the mall I work at. I even had someone follow me out to where I grocery shop when I got off work one night. I have to watch my back, closely.

Besides all of that, Dan and I got the apartment decorated for Christmas a little. Maybe I can get some decent pictures soon. I'd like to get a little more done, and some more cleaning.
I'm having everyone over my apartment for New Year's Eve. We are also having a friend from back home coming out to watch the Red Wing's play the Blackhawk's at Wrigley Field on New Year's Day. Dan and I wanted to go, but we can't afford $300 tickets.

Just enjoying my day off today. I got some much needed cleaning done around the apartment and now I'm not sure what to do with myself. I might try to take my unit three test for my Biology class. I think I need to get my head together before that, though.

Almost the Weekend

I should be pretty busy at work today and tomorrow. We're receiving a new shipment of products. The store is pretty empty because of our sale of 50% off of everything in the entire store, so I expect the shipment is going to be huge. I think I'm going to be stuck stocking everything by myself as well. Hopefully I can get by with what little sleep I've had. Luckily, Danny has the day off so if I need anything he can run up.

I have been meaning to get outside and take some pictures, but I never get the chance because I am always at work.
There is a bush right outside my apartment that is really pretty. It is covered with snow and icicles. Hopefully I can get a picture of it soon. I'd like to add more of my own photography to my Zazzle store instead of all the commercial clip art and photos I buy.

I guess I should get ready for my day now.

Good Morning!

I had the day off of work yesterday, so did Dan. We took advantage of the time and ran some errands. We finally bought a much needed vacuum.

I went to work to pick up my check and look at the schedule. I only took a glance at it, but it seems as if I have all of my hours back.
Now it's back to work until Christmas time.

Vacation is Over!

Just got home! It was a long trip, especially in the winter storm. The cab ride back from the train station was really long with all the snow. Danny was hoping to have school off, looks like the snow has stopped for now, though. We will see what happens within the next couple of hours. Beside that, we both don't have to go to work today. I have a lot to get done here. I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

I didn't get to take any pictures at home. Thanksgiving was nice, the whole weekend was nice.
