Just One More Day!

Work wasn't too bad yesterday. I finally have a day off, but I'm going to use it to get ready to go home. I have to pack bags (mine and Danny's) and I have laundry to do. I'd also like to clean up the apartment a bit before we leave so I don't have to come home from a nice vacation to a messy apartment.
I haven't really taken a picture of my new hair yet, but you can kind of see it in this one. It's a little messy, and curly. I don't do my hair on days I have to work, haha.

Hopefully I can get a better one where it isn't so dark and you can actually see it. It's pretty short, and I haven't had short hair in a couple years.

Well, I better get started on my chores. I will try to write again on Friday. I am going to be busy shopping with my grandma for most of the day, so I don't know when I'll be able to get to a computer.

Long Day

Work was really long yesterday. I had to get the whole store ready for corporate to come in today. We don't even have a manager, this store is crazy. Just two more days of work then I get to go back home!
I got a chance to clean some of my apartment and rearrange the furniture like I have been wanting to.

I feel accomplished.
I'm not looking forward to work later today, but it's almost over for a little while.
I can at least go home for the holiday weekend and forget about everything.
I'm going to try and update while I'm at home, possibly with pictures.

It really made my night a lot better. I'm just a little stressed out because the register at work went a little haywire and I'm not understanding why, but it's throwing all of our numbers off track and I'm not sure how to deal with it, and I don't have a lot of help with it. It made closing the register a little more difficult and when I train our new employee how to close tonight it's going to be difficult because I can't show him how to. We'll see how everything goes, though. Too bad Zazzle doesn't make a great living...

My boyfriend bought me some really nice flowers on Thursday night as well, so it's nice to come home to those. When he buys me flowers they are never the same kind, so it's always a nice surprise.

It's finally the weekend, enjoy it! I will update again on Monday.

Business is Slow

Beside that, I have just been going to work, not as much as I had been, though. My hours have been cut, quite dramatically. I blame management, or lack of management therefore. There are just too many people working at the store. I may (or may not) start looking for another job soon. Right now I am just focusing on getting home for Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not sure if I will be able to write while I am at home but I will be sure to update when I get home.
